brush lettering workshop

a few weeks ago, we hosted an introduction to brush lettering workshop with brittney from lettered light design! it was such a fun evening hightlighted by brittney's detailed and easy to understand instruction. (side note: have you seen her IG feed? it's chalk full of beautiful lettering. it's worth a follow!) students learned how to use different brush pens for calligraphy and skills for creating a brush style alphabet. they even got to create a piece of their own calligraphy artwork to take home with them. to boot, we indulged in champagne and cupcakes while making all the pretty things. YES.
