a few notes for this friday.
color me inspired.
i have long been a fan of oh happy day (visit their blog for a generous dose of #partygoals!) and their latest project does not disappoint. the color factory pop up in san francisco is a 12,000 square foot, multi-hued interactive experience full of inspiration, gorgeous typestyles and even a ball pit. while i’ll miss visiting in person, the instagram posts are enough to provide a wonderful sensory experience. even for those who usually shy away from color, like me. it’s worth a follow.

the sweetest love note to pink.
one of our extraordinary and talented shopgirls and friends, erika veurink, wrote a beautiful letter to our little store. we are blushing! gah. it’s just the cutest. this girl is going places. we love you, erika.

we took our first real vacation as a family of three last week. it was full of new experiences, mostly good and a few forgettable ones (i.e. jude not sleeping!). i brought a journal along to write it all down. i love hearing stories from my parents about vacations from years ago, and i hope jude will feel the same. now i have official documentation (other than the photos on my phone) of the walks by the river, hiking to waterfalls, taking his first steps and endless attention from all his spirited cousins. it was one for the books. we even happened upon a bear, omg…
