A year goes by in a flash. Time marches on…the clichés ring true. Babies start to crawl, toddlers stop wearing diapers, someone loses their first tooth, another celebrates a sweet sixteen, then they graduate from high school, maybe head off to college, get married and start a family. Then before you know it, you’re sorting through photos of your grandchildren. A lot happens in a year and a lifetime.

Sharing a holiday card every twelve months with a photo of those near and dear to your heart marks the time, stops the time, at least for a moment. A holiday card tells the story of what was happening, in that phase of their lives, before the next big thing took its place.

Here’s another cliché for you…a picture is worth a thousand words. They wouldn’t say it, if it wasn’t true.
